On Janurary 10th 2009, The Family Church of Lafayette LA hosted a CPR and Basic First Aid event. Community members were able to recieve a $5 CPR certification and attend some Basic First Aid Classes. The event enhanced awareness and responsibility in their comminuty. Included in the event were demonstrations in: - Child Fingerprinting
- Child Safety Restraint and Car Laws
- Street-Wise Self Defense
- Police Cars and Motorcycles

The five teens sat in silence as they faced the reality of their actions. The young men had broken into a local skate rink the weekend before and stolen more than $10,000 worth of stuff, including high-dollar musical instruments and electronics like TVs. They did it, they said, because they were bored, and thought they would be able to make some money. |

 Food 2 Go is one of the ministries started by Living Hope Church in Centerville Ohio . There are many children in their community who are receiving free lunches at school but go hungry on the weekends. Food-2-Go is a mission to feed those children. With the help of the community, and church members, special need's children in Centerville City School's will be provided food free of charge.
